The Management of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, has concluded arrangement to sign Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Globacom Network for effective service delivery.
Dr Abubakar Dzukogi, Rector of the institution, disclosed this in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Tuesday.
He said that already the management has upgraded its 15 Megabytes bandwidth to 155Megabytes to enhance the institution’s internet access facilities.
The rector also said that the institution’s website has been installed, saying that this would make it possible for the institution to be connected to the internet.
“We now have students’ portal where registration, payments, clearance, application, admission, accommodation, result and transcripts could be done online,” he said.
He explained that the effective communication system will add academic value to the institution’s newly established School of Information and Communication Technology.(NAN)
